On Friday night the ITC family headed to Caesars Pizzeria & Italian restaurant. We used to visit Caesars regularly, when Miss ITC was younger, as it is a great place for the kids to run around safely outside the restaurant. For some reason we stopped going. Now Caesars has been reborn. It is under new management. Frank took over Caesars in May this year and has revitalised the restaurant. He has refurbished and made the place brighter.
The menu is comprehensive and include pizza, pasta and daily specials. They also have gluten free bases. They can cater for large groups or small groups. It is very family friendly and if you are a regular Frank will greet you by name.
What I liked most about the restaurant, was that it was a calm and relaxing place. There was no loud shouting, no-one pressuring you to order and eat so that your table can be used for the next sitting. Sit, stay and relax and have a good night out.
The pizzas had very generous toppings. The pizzas also have thin and crispy bases (which were really good). We had so much food we could not finish all we ordered. That is no problem for Frank he will make sure you go home with a doggy bag.
I had the Fettuccine Carbonara and the best compliment that dish could receive is that Miss ITC wants to return and have that as her main meal.
Frank has a love of Italy and all things Italian. He first fell in love with Italian food when he visited Italy and has never looked back. He started his food journey with a restaurant in Mosman and has now moved to Lane Cove.
