The other day ITC was at a Social Media seminar on the Gold Coast (what a shame we do not have a convention centre in Lane Cove) and the taxi driver taking me to the hotel, told me that the last week the hotel had a huge podiatry conference. He told me there were “100’s of them”.  He was amazed as he had never heard of a podiatrist before.  Guess what, there are at least two podiatrists in Lane Cove.

Lane Cove Podiatry

Lane Cove Podiatry –  has a dedicated  team that are there to help identify your pain, diagnose and treat your foot problems.
Whether you have little feet or growing feet; or you suffer from chronic foot pain, diabetic foot or sporting injuries requiring soft tissue management or rehabilitation, they would love to treat those feet.  They also believe that being active is an important part of a healthy lifestyle and it can be achieved by something as simple as walking.  Keep checking their Facebook site for some guided walks.

Stephanie Vidler

Stephanie joined Lane Cove Podiatry in 2012 and is now Principal Podiatrist, after running a successful practice in Umina on the Central Coast for 20 years. Stephanie specialises in General and Sports Podiatry. Education is important to Stephanie who has been involved in mentoring students from UWS, Newcastle and Charles Sturt University for several years. Stephanie loves public speaking and sharing the foot health education message with community groups. She is a valued speaker at Probus and Rotary Functions. Being a keen competitive rower and skier, Stephanie enjoys all aspects of sport. She has a strong interest in sports podiatry and the prevention of sporting injuries as well as the challenges of general podiatry care and choosing the right footwear for all your needs. Stephanie resides in Riverview where she lives with her family. Being close to work is a bonus and Stephanie is looking forward to being proactive in the local community. Stephanie is joined by podiatrists Lisa Mayo and Susie Wales.

Lane Cove Podiatry is excited to announce that their practice now has a visiting Pedorthotist. Lorraine Hanna from Happy Walking Mobile Pedorthics is a certified Pedorthotist with over 10 years experience in prescription and provision of extra depth and orthopaedic footwear. Lorraine is available by appointment at their rooms and a Podiatrist will also be in house if required during your consultation.

Apparently these balls that look like a medieval torture instrument are good for you feet. These massage balls  help alleviate plantar fasciitis and plantar heel pain. You can get yours in any colour as long as it is red, green, blue or yellow. Did you know that plantar heel pain is one of the most common conditions they see at The Foot Group and is easily treated?
