It has been a big week in Lane Cove.
Friday night was the annual Lane Cove Night Out. It was a balmy summer’s night and a great covers band was playing in the Rotunda (the only thing they did not play was Jessie’s Girl). People were shopping, the wheel was spinning and there was plenty to eat and drink.
Today was Melbourne Cup day and the restaurants in the Plaza were packed. ITC spent the afternoon at the Lodge. It was very pleasant and Matt and Marketa really made it a fun day with sweeps and giveaways. The Cake Man was pumping and we even spotted a horse and a man in a dinner suit. Then at 3.00pm the big screen was on in the Plaza and we were off and racing.
