Lane Cove Giving is Receiving – Our Generous Community

We know that Lane Cove is an incredibly generous community.  We have received messages and Emails from In the Cove fans asking us how they can give this Christmas.  We had a lovely message from a mother’s group asking us if we could help them find a family in need so they could deliver some Christmas Cheer.

We thought we would let you know about some of the things you can do this month to give someone a better Christmas.

Lane Cove Orthodontics – Salvation Army Giving Tree

Lane Cove Orthodontics will be collecting donations for the Salvation Army Christmas appeal between 1 December and 13 December.  The Salvation Army has requested that gifts be unwrapped so that the parents can personally select suitable gifts for their child. Any donation big or small would be greatly appreciated.  If you can’t make it to Lane Cove Orthodontics, you can drop off your presents at Lime Leaf Fruit Market and they will deliver them to Lane Cove Orthodontics

Storage King Lane Cove West – Toy Drive

The boys at Storage King Lane Cove are at it again – they are amazing.  This year they have held garage sales for charity and several other charitity initiaves.  This year they are conducting a toy drive for Christmas. The Storage King Toy Drive is well underway with donations of toys starting to arrive.
Our store is a drop off location for NEW toys that you want to donate to children in the local hospitals. P.S don’t forget ages 0-16 ! Speak to us for more details.

Jack & Co Northwood

Are you a legend who likes to ‘Pay It Forward’? You can make a donation of an in-store purchase that will be added to Christmas hampers that Jack & Co are sending to the Delvena Women’s & Children’s Refuge in Lane Cove. It’s a great way of making Christmas just a little bit brighter for people who really need it. What’s not to love about that.

Ray White – A Little Ray of Sunshine

Over 898,000 children across Australia and New Zealand won’t receive a gift this Christmas.  Ray White Lane Cove together with Wesley Mission are setting up a donation point in their office.  Wesley Mission helps 18 000 clients a month across a variety of services.  Drop a present into their offices at 162 Longueville Road Lane Cove and they will make sure it goes to a deserving family in our community.
