Welcome to our Lane Cove monthly round up of all things Business during September 2016. If it opened, closed, rebranded, refurbed or anything else, we’ve (hopefully) covered it here!
Now Open/New Businesses
Encasa
Encasa opened in the middle of September, and they have really hit the ground running, with reports of being pretty full most nights, and rave reviews about the food, and friendly staff. Even better news – Encasa is owned by Lane Cove locals!
Artisan Brooklyn
Another newbie during the month, Artisan Brooklyn is open, and offering a range of American style meals, along with a tempting looking deli. Since opening, we are pleased to report that they have added a Kids Menu too.

Menus will be available at the bar.
You may select and order via your own phone, giving your name and table number. You may use a credit card to pay or payment will be cash on delivery. The delivery fee of $3 will be waived when you tell Zapparelli‘s it is for the Golf Club. Otherwise you can give your order to the bar staff who will phone through the order.
Lane Cove Veterinary Hospital have been busy updating their clinic, and shared the following with us
Exciting times ahead and a new look for Lane Cove Veterinary Hospital!
We thought that this was a great opportunity to share some recent developments that have taken place here at Lane Cove Veterinary Hospital. As your partner in petcare, we strive to deliver excellence in veterinary care…and now the clinic itself will also match our team’s passion and energy!
Our new look signals a new era for Lane Cove Veterinary Hospital. You may have noticed some changes around the place! Our new and improved puppy pre-school area has a picket fence as well as an artificial grass covering for all the puppies! Also, keep an eye out for our mascots Rusty the dog, Rosie the cat and their group of friends. See if you can spot them on the Pacific Highway side of the clinic.
The exterior changes are only the beginning! In the coming months our clinic revamp will continue with changes and redesigning of our reception and consulting rooms for the convenience of our clients. We can’t wait to share and reveal these renovations as they develop.
Closing or Closed
After 62 years in Lane Cove, Romantic Notions on Longueville Road closed down at the end of September. Marilyn and her staff would like to thank Lane Cove for their support, but it is time for a well-earned retirement. We wish them all the best in the future.

Yogabowl ~ Corporate & Yoga Services is on the move. After 11 years at the Longueville Sporting Club (aka The Diddy), they are moving next door to the Lane Cove Tennis Club.
It is a beautiful, clean, airy space. Looking out big windows at the sky, the trees and the sunset. Lovely calm energy in the space.
When do they move?

Stay tuned for details of the house-warming party.
