Greenwich is buzzing with the Greenwich Village Arts Trail 2016

Greenwich arts trail 2016

Greenwich is buzzing today and will probably be buzzing all weekend.  If you drive through Greenwich you will see bunches of people walking around with maps.  They are walking around the Greenwich Village Arts Trail.

The Greenwich Village Arts Trail is now in its 5th year, and has attracted even more artists with  23 artists opening their studio doors to the public across 17 sites.

Many of the artists on the Greenwich Village Arts Trail have won multiple awards and have been hung and shown in prestigious art events. The Greenwich Arts Trail 2016 represents a diverse mix of cultural backgrounds, with artists having lived, worked, studied and practised in many corners of the world.
The Greenwich Village Arts Trail 2016 is worth a visit  as there are artists who paint with oil, acrylic and watercolour paintings, sculptures, jewellery, pottery, photography, and linen, silk and paper prints on display and for sale.

You might just enjoy a walk along on the Greenwich Village Arts Trail. Visitors can enjoy wonderful bush and waterfront walks as they wander from studio to studio, and choose from four cafes for meals and coffee. Studios are open on the weekend of the 5th and 6th of November 2016, from 10am to 4pm. Train, ferry and bus stops are all within a short distance of the trail and maps are available at the local shops or on the website.

If you did not make it today, don’t panic it is on tomorrow.  In the Cove did a quick tour of as many artists as we could.  Here is a sample of what you will see on the Greenwich Village Arts Trail 2016.
