Lane Cove generally has three or four squads in the NSFA Men’s All Age competition. That’s over 100 players! They field squads in a number of divisions which offers a challenge to players of higher skill level and fitness, and fun and competitive football to players of all standards.

Training and “home” games are played at Blackman Park, Lloyd Rees Drive, Lane Cove West. Training is usually Tuesday and/or Thursday evenings and games are on Saturday afternoons.

The club watering hole is Longueville Sporting Club, where teams generally gather after games on Saturday afternoons.

We often get asked about Netball clubs in Lane Cove (by both senior and junior players).  Lane Cove does not have a netball club and most junior netball is played with a school team.  If you want to play senior Netball you can play with the  Greenwich Sports Club, Chatswood Rangers or Willoughby United Netball Club.

Play Safe

If you or your child is playing sport, make sure you invest in a Mouth Guard.

Did you know more than 5 million teeth are knocked out during sporting activities every year? What is even worse is that it’s estimated between 30% and 50% of these injuries could have been prevented or would have been less severe had a mouthguard been worn.

Find our more here about mouthguards from
