The biggest news of the week is that Grammy Winning Music Superstar Adele was spotted shopping in Kidstuff Lane Cove.  Who says Lane Cove is boring?

More Tree Branches Come Down

A Tree Branch came down on Power Lines in Karilla Avenue this week. If this happens in your street contact Ausgrid via this link. Lane Cove Council cannot trim trees near power lines.

The Quartet Development Started This Week

A roving reporter noticed that they were very quick to clear the land for the QUARTET development in Finlayson/Birdwood Avenue. The work only commenced this week. Probably a good thing as there were rumours that there were squatters in the old abandoned houses.

Crime Incidents and Traffic Issues

This week thieves broke into Burns Bay Road Mailboxes. There are a couple of steps you can take to ensure your mail is safe. You can arrange for a secure lock from Alert Locks & Security Lane Cove or you can get a mail box from the Post Office or MBE Lane Cove(the benefit of Mbe lane cove is that you can collect your own parcels 24/7 and great if you run a business from home.)
An accident on Burns Bay Road near the Lane Cove Bowling Club closed the road and police and NSW Fire and rescue were in attendance
