Annual Art Award

Centrehouse hosts annual art awards for primary and high school students, ages 5 – 17 years, known as the Eve Vonwiller Youth Art Awards. Applications and details for the 2017 awards are available here

Eve Vonwiller was a much-loved art teacher who was passionate about visual arts with the youth in our community and who taught at Centrehouse in Lane Cove for many years.

She instigated this award in 1995 with the aim of providing youngsters with an opportunity to exhibit and to encourage an appreciation of creative visual arts in the community.

Centrehouse is again very proud to bring this annual event to Lane Cove in Eve’s memory.

The Awards promote, support and recognise the creative talents of young people in the North Shore area, and provide opportunities for the development of their talents through associated Centrehouse workshops.
