Welcome to our Lane Cove Weekly Review for 26 June to 2 July 2017.

This week was filled with Lost Pets – we had a repeat incident of a cheeky pair of Great Danes escaping  from their home in Lane Cove North during the week (now found); Gentle giant Fry was missing from home in Linley Point on Saturday, for a few hours; and Batman, a beautiful black cat and new Lane Cove resident, was reported missing from his new Lane Cove North home on Saturday.

Quick Thinking Local Hero

A sad incident happened around lunch time on Saturday at Lane Cove Plaza. A gentleman suffered a probable heart attack outside Dymocks. A massive cheer for quick thinking local hero Jake Harris, who ensured an ambulance was called, and then administered CPR to the man until the paramedics arrived.

Update from the RMS

This is the response ITC received when we asked the RMS to confirm they would fund improvement roadworks at the corner of Bridge Road and River Road. We think that stretch of road is the Slipperiest Bend in Lane Cove.

Local Events

Earlier this year “comedian” Tom Gleeson labelled Lane Cove as Boring. ITC was not impressed and thought we should take action to show you just how much you can do in Lane Cove if you so desire. So, ITC hit the town and made the most of what Lane Cove had to offer!! You can read the tale of our ’20 Events in 30 Days” HERE.
