The Rotary Lane Cove Village Fair is Back!

Next Sunday, the 8th of October is the Lane Cove Village Fair. The fair is one of the most exciting events on the Lane Cove calendar, especially because ITC has a stall there and we get to meet lots of our fabulous followers IRL! This year at the fair you can even Speed Date a Sustainability Expert.

Witness Sought

Did you witness this? Do you know the Good Samaritans?

“On Tuesday 26 September, my mum (86 in November) was turning right out of Rosenthal Ave car park when she was clipped by a vehicle which sped up on the left and then failed to stop. Her car had to be towed. So my first question is whether anyone witnessed this incident which would have occurred sometime between 4-5pm?

Secondly some good people called Chris and Graham Loxton stopped and helped mum for about an hour – she didn’t have her phone with her and they made calls for her on theirs, staying on hold for ages with insurance etc. They stayed with her for about an hour until the tow truck arrived, and then they ended up driving her home. We would like to thank them but mum didn’t take their details other than names and we can’t trace them. So I was wondering if any of your readers may know them? Chris Loxton’s birthday is the same day as my mum’s, November 16!””
