Lane Cove Business Round Up November 2017

Welcome to our Lane Cove Business monthly round-up of all business happenings during November 2017. If it opened, closed, rebranded, refurbed or anything else, we’ve (hopefully) covered it here!

New Businesses/Now Open

Akira Sushi

Located upstairs in Plaza Central (next to Bar Blaq, and above The Cake Man), is Lane Cove’s newest restaurant Akira Sushi. They serve a range of Japanese favourites, including Udon Hot Pot, Ramen, sushi, sashimi, tempura, Japanese style salads, and more! Lunch specials are also available. Akira is family friendly.  When we asked if any of our Facebook Followers had been and if they liked it we got an overwhelmingly positive response.

One Facebook Fan said:

We eat at all the Japanese/Sushi places in Lane Cove regularly. The food here was by far the best, we will certainly be regular customers.

You can check out the reviews here.  Akira also wants to part of the Lane Cove Community and is supporting ITC by becoming a gold sponsor.

Shorties Lane Cove

Much excitement ITC with the opening of Shorties Lane Cove. Shorties is an “intimate local restaurant & bar serving up food designed to be shared, an emphasis on Aussie produce and everything made in-house.” The feedback has been amazing. Shorties have been packed since opening.

This is what one of our Facebook Fans told us about Shorties.

It was great. Had kingfish ceviche, prosciutto and melon, beef tartare and whitebait (between two). Everything was delicious and the service was faultless. Really responsive waitresses and the food came quickly. Long may it last!

Shorties are also keen to be part of the Lane Cove Community and will be finalising sponsorship with ITC very soon. Thank you Shorties.
