Lane Cove Sunset Artists’ Market 9th Feb 2018 5 – 8 pm

    Make Friday 9th Feb the day you book a local Lane Cove restaurant and grab some artisan goods.  Lane Cove Council has organised the Lane Cove Sunset Artists’ Market in the Lane Cove Plaza.

    After last year’s succesful Sunset Artists’ Market the evening market is back with over 20 stallholders showcasing some emerging creative talent.  There will be 20 different stalls to explore.

    Why not grab a happy hour drink from the Lodge or venture up to Bar Blaq to check out the markets from above??

    While you are shopping the kids can join in a watercolour workshop at the Pointy Pembleton stall.

    Here is a taste of what you will see.


    Arcandles: Unique wood wick candles with arrangements and orgonites;

    Ayana Jewellery: Handmade sterling silver jewellery, crafted in Neutral Bay;


    Bandicoot Designs: Children’s and baby clothes designed and made in Lane Cove from recycled fabrics;

    Karen Tam Designs: Stunning textiles hand dyed with earth friendly natural dyes and water based inks;

    Kasia Jacquot: Hand painted Polish Easter eggs and embroidered fabrics;

    You will also be serenaded by live music from solo artist Bel Woods. Bel Woods has been a professional cover and original artist for many years performing hits from the 50’s to current mainstream. Bel covers classic artists such as The Beatles, The Drifters, The Everly Brothers, The Divinyls, Paul Kelly, Diesel, Madonna, Prince, David Bowie, and modern contemporaries such as Green Day, The Black Keys, Lady Gaga and many more. Bel Woods delivery is flexible in her approach, ranging from sweet afternoon ballads to more rock flavoured sensitivities, dependent on the mood of a room and venue.
