GymbaROO Lane Cove and Greenwich – Baby and Child Development Classes

GymbaROO is the ideal activity to do with your child. It’s a great way to bond with your child as they enjoy stimulating activities which will enhance their development. Christine Staniforth is the owner of Lane Cove & Greenwich GymbaROO and BabyROO.  She is well known to Lane Cove mums and dads as so many of them have enrolled their children in a GymbaROO classes.

Last year GymbaROO Greenwich launched a new Saturday classes. Not everyone can make a class on a weekday, so parents love having a Saturday option. GymbaROO.

We asked Christine to tell us all about GymbaROO.

What is GymbaROO?

GymbaROO & BabyROO are baby and child development classes which provide a solid foundation for brain growth and developing fine and gross motor skills which are directly linked to a child’s academic performance, learning and sporting skills. Classes are developmentally age appropriate and loads of fun! Bring your child along to crawl, creep, jump, hop, swing, roll, tumble, hang, climb, sing and dance their way to healthy physical, social, emotional and intellectual development.

Did you know that 80% of brain development occurs in the first year of life and 90% by the age of four? Experiences a child has in their first years lay the foundation for life. With GymbaROO’s age specific classes, we help parents and carers understand how to raise a well-rounded, healthy and happy child. Every week parents and carers receive a developmental handout and information throughout each lesson.

How are GymbaROO child development classes structured?

Programmes run over a 10-week term (in line with the school terms). Weekly sessions are 45-50 minutes in length and focus on a different area of child development each session. Not only is it fun for the child, but parents/carers enjoy the classes as these are parent/carer participation. Classes have a distinct routine which is so important for child development. It prepares children for school and has a specific educational purpose!! The structure of each lesson is altered depending on the age group of children. Segments include dancing, exercises, music, parachute, small equipment, treasure bag and lots of exploring time in our child centred gym areas.

What do your Parents Say About GymbaROO?

I love my business because of the constant positive feedback I receive. Here is just a sample of what people have told me:

“Our family has benefited from an ongoing involvement with GymbaROO. Christine’s classes are always fun, and we take home ideas which inspire and promote learning in our everyday activities, from birth through to pre-school. ”

Sarah W

“As a father on Paternity leave, I found Gymbaroo was a great place to take my daughter. Christine and her team take a professional and fun approach to children’s development and I highly recommend the classes! World class! ”

Martin C

“Since enrolling Maddison into BabyROO, her patience for tummy time and co- ordination have really advanced. As she becomes more interactive I can see that she really enjoys her time at the classes, using all of the equipment, and seeing all of her new friends! I would recommend any parent to enrol their baby into BabyROO not only to help the advancement of their children both physically and socially but also to learn educational games to play with them and most of all to have fun while doing it! ”

Naomi

“Annabelle loves GymbaROO! From her time in the gym, to dancing to the music and the wonder of treasure bag, she happily skips, jumps, runs and hops to each activity, growing in skill and confidence week by week. I recommend GymbaROO to all my friends with little ones. I don’t think there is any other type of children’s class or activity that provides such a comprehensive range of developmental opportunities, all wrapped up in a fun, high energy and safe environment. I think the parents and carers enjoy it as much as the kids!”

Cate

“Rose and I have thoroughly enjoyed the Greenwich GymbaROO sessions that Christine has run. The gym that is set up is awesome and Rose has gained enormous confidence exploring the different apparatus and above all she has lots of fun. The mat sessions are great and the knowledge and interest that Christine shows will keep us going back for more.”
