Everybody loves a fair, and Lane Cove residents love the Lane Cove Rotary Fair and Sustainability Lane.
This year, the Lane Cove Rotary Fair will be HUGE!! The Fair will take place in Lane Cove Plaza, The Canopy, Longueville Road and Burns Bay Road. The rides will be back on Burns Bay Road.
Thousands of people attend the event, and you will surely bump into many people you know. In fact, last year, over 17,000 people enjoyed the fair and sustainability lane.
What is at the Fair?
The Lane Cove Village Fair is organised by Lane Cove Rotary and is loved by both young and old. It features entertainment, live music, food, market stalls, and displays by community organisations, emergency services and an AFL Play zone. Find out more at the Lane Cove Fair website.
Lane Cove Rotary will have their BBQ fired up and ready to go, and let’s face it, who does not enjoy a snag at a fair (or any time really)! There will be egg and bacon rolls in the morning.
ITC will have a stall at the Fair, and we would love to meet you there. Please come along and say hi!! We will have giveaways, competitions, and some surprises, in addition to our world-famous Lane Cove Tea Towels.
Petting Zoo
A mobile petting zoo will be located at The Canopy, near the Live Music Zone, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Children can enjoy feeding and playing with popular farm animals inside a safe and secure enclosure, accompanied by friendly, trained staff.
Face Painting
There will be two face-painting stations: one in the Lane Cove Plaza and one near The Lane Cove Toy Library.
Rides
There will be five different rides from Planet Entertainment and, of course, Fairy Floss.
You can buy your tickets on that day.
Rides will be on Burns Bay Road (outside the Lane Cove Toy Library and Harris Farm Markets).

Where Can I Park?
Parking is available at the Lane Cove Market Square Car Park, Harris Farm Car Park and the Canopy Car Park. Displayed parking rates apply. But it is best to walk!!
Is it suitable for a person with mobility issues or a parent?

If You Buy Us A Coffee, it is, in fact, helping to pay the ITC Team
We want to clarify that, yes, the ITC team does support local businesses by drinking coffee, but there is a limit to the number of cups you can drink in a day.
We started the Buy Us A Coffee Campaign as a way to keep local news free and to grow our team. Our team is now comprised of three local mums who work part-time to bring you all the up-to-date news, traffic alerts, incidents, and events. We also now have Walkley Award Nominee Jack Kelly writing articles for us, as well as founder Jacky Barker. We truly appreciate any help you can provide, whether large or small.
How local journalism keeps communities engaged
Local newsrooms play a vital role in keeping communities informed and engaged with the decisions that affect them. Without dedicated coverage of local government, infrastructure, and policy changes, many residents are left uninformed about issues that significantly impact their daily lives. Independent newsrooms help bridge this gap, providing a trusted source of information and giving people a platform to voice concerns. Strong local reporting doesn’t just inform, it fosters public participation and strengthens civic engagement. – extract from the Local and Independent News Association Website
