Asia Pacific Democratic Education Conference – Currambena Day

Currambena Preschool and Primary School in Lane Cove is hosting the Asia Pacific Democratic Education Conference this school holiday to facilitate discussion and engagement with ideas about giving students choice in their education, including the right to vote in school meetings and make decisions about their own learning. The conference is a wonderful opportunity to meet and network with some passionate and inspiring educators including not merely the teachers and principals but the parents and students from the democratic schools all around the world. The theme this year is Students’ Voices so the current and former students will speak about their passions, interests, research, work and connections to the Asia/Pacific region. Classrooms at Currambena will be open throughout the day for participants to visit. Meals are included. Come and Join Us!
