SUMMARY:Bursting Into Life
DESCRIPTION:Different Degrees Theatre Ensemble ask what would happen if they were in charge. \nBursting Into Life is an original 45-minute work inspired by the Roman feast day Saturnalia and Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night\, in which hierarchies topple and the ensemble imagines the small changes — and the raucous\, fantastical ones — that might make a difference in their lives. It is an immersive invitation into a world of sometimes painful\, touching and irreverent scenarios\, all of which contain a seed of truth. \nDirected by Alice Williams with designer Lucy Watson\, and presented by Sydney Community Services and Lane Cove Council as part of the Lane Cove Festival @ Sydney Fringe. Lighting by Lane Cove Theatre Company. \nWorld premiere. Rated G. Content warning: content related to mental health. \nWednesday 30 September\, 6.00pm – 6.45pm at Pottery Lane Performance Space\, 1 Pottery Lane\, Lane Cove. Free.
