SUMMARY:Get Prepared App: Drop-In Help Session
DESCRIPTION:It’s easy to feel overwhelmed in an emergency\, but the Australian Red Cross’s Get Prepared app aims to help residents recover faster when disaster strikes. The app covers simple steps like understanding local risks\, knowing who to call in an emergency\, keeping important documents and medical information organised\, and packing an emergency kit ahead of time.\n\nFor anyone wanting a hand getting set up\, the Red Cross team will be on hand at Lane Cove Library on Thursday 17 September\, 10am to 12pm\, to help residents download and set up the app.\n\nFree\, drop in any time during the session.
