Empower360 Fitness – Fit Day Out for Teens

Every school holidays Empower360 Fitness hosts Fit Day Out for local teens. A day where kids and teens 10-17 years can get outside and do something fun and challenging with their friends.

Tomorrow they’re heading to Manly for beach games and a surf lesson. This event is open to absolutely anyone and places are still available if you’d like to join.

Details:

Date: Thursday 10th October

Time: 10:45am – 3:30pm

Location: Manly Beach – meet on Manly Beach at the end of the Corso

Schedule:

10:45am: meet Kate at Manly beach

11am: beach games (beach volleyball, cricket & surf lifesaving games)

12pm: picnic lunch and free time

1:15pm: reconvene at North Steyne Surf Lifesaving club (a 10min walk north from the Corso)

1:30pm: surf lesson with Manly Surf School

3:30pm: finish

Who:

ANYONE! Please bring your friends, the more the merrier.

Cost:

Beach Games: $5pp payable to Kate on the day

Surfing: $40-$45pp depending on numbers, payable to Manly Surf School on the day.

Supervision:

I’m more than happy to supervise any of the smaller guys and keep them with me for the lunch break. Please give them some money for ice-cream as a Manly Beach experience just isn’t complete without a trip to Ben and Jerry’s!

Just respond to this email and let me know who I’m to keep under my wing.

If you trust your older kids to have some free time unsupervised, just let me know when you’re reserving your space that they’ll be ok to take off for a bit.

Parents you are MORE than welcome to stay or even join in the surf lesson if you wish!

Transport

If you want to make a day of it, the ferry is a STUNNING way to get to Manly beach.

Parents who are driving, I’d love to organise a carpool again. I may have a few seats available in my car too.
