HarbourCare’s River Restoration

Get in the spring-cleaning spirit as part of Lane Cove’s Festival by the River and join us for HarbourCare’s River Restoration event! This land-based cleanup event will see us collect litter through creeks, parks, mangroves and bushland, all while enjoying a beautiful bushwalk. Clean-ups are a great way to bring the community together, make a real impact to the natural environment, and start the conversation about reducing litter at the source.

Note: This is a guided clean-up so please arrive at meeting point promptly.

• All ages welcome, low – moderate fitness required.
• Bags, gloves and litter pickers provided.
• BYO water and snack.
• Please wear enclosed footwear and sun-smart clothing.

To ensure this is a COVID safe activity, numbers are strictly limited. We will also be checking proof of vaccination, physically distancing on site and hand sanitiser will be provided. Please wear a mask where government advice recommends it. All equipment is disinfected before and after use.

Please do not attend on the day if you are feeling unwell or have any cold/flu symptoms.
