SUMMARY:Building Resilience — Lane Cove Library
DESCRIPTION:Lane Cove Library marks Mental Health Month with a practical\, affirming session on resilience\, led by psychologist and Somatic Experiencing practitioner Ksenija Mijatovic. The talk explores what stress actually does to the body and how genuine emotional resilience is built through everyday life\, including human connection and meaning-making. \nMijatovic draws on her background in integrative psychotherapy to offer an approach that works with the body rather than against it\, giving attendees tools they can put into practice straight away. \nThe session runs on Saturday 10 October at Lane Cove Library. SUMMARY:Lane Cove Runners Weekly Free Friday Running Group 6.00 AM
DESCRIPTION:Lane Cove Runners is a social\, non-competitive\, free running group. \n\n\nFind out more here. \nWe’d love to invite you to join our new Lane Cove Runners Club for a relaxed social run around town! We meet at Old Quarter Café at 6:00 am and run around 5–6 km at a conversational pace. After the run\, we finish with a coffee at Story Café. \nWhether you’re an experienced runner or just getting into running\, this is a friendly and supportive way to start. You’ll be running with people who enjoy running and are keen to chat and share tips. \nOur aim is to build a local running community in Lane Cove. As the group grows\, we plan to add longer runs and more frequent meetups. \nFind out more:\nFacebook Group\nInstagram:@lanecoverunners
