Do you suffer from Chronic pain?

Have you learnt to ‘live’ with back pain because you have tried everything?
Maybe you’re wondering if there’s a way to prevent injuries that impede your lifestyle?

You may not realise how your postural habits are perpetuating muscle pain and dysfunction – and how easily you can be taught to change it on your own.

The focus of the workshop will help to relax the back, waist, hips and legs that, when unconsciously and habitually contracted, contribute to limited mobility, muscle and joint pain. We will integrate the upper body with the legs and hip joints for improved alignment in the pelvis and spine.

The result will be better functionality – more fluid walking, running, flexibility, balance and co-ordination and a reversal of back and hip pain.

Each student will receive a handout with information and Hanna Somatics principles, approach to some movement AND a suggested home-practice routine.

Desk-sitters, drivers, runners, Yoga practitioners, hikers, walkers, mothers with young children.

This workshop is of special interest to anyone who is recovering from an injury, or anyone who has “tried everything” for long term back and hip joint pain relief, and those interested in injury prevention.
It is appropriate for all ages and fitness levels; newcomers AND those with experience.

These workshops explore movement based on Hanna Somatics: a safe, gentle and common sense approach to eliminating chronic muscle pain for the long term.
It enables people to enjoy rapid and significant improvement in physical comfort, quality of movement and posture – leading to freedom from pain and more comfortable movement in their lives.
