Or maybe one shoulder is tighter than the other?
Come and learn how to release the muscles that result in tight necks and shoulders – and the associated head / neck / shoulder pain.
In this workshop you will learn gently, easy movements based on Hanna Somatics.
Expect increased freedom of shoulder movement and a reversal of stooped, rounded shoulders that can develop due to repetitive desk sitting and computer work, excessive driving or sitting, and chronic shoulder injuries.
We’ll explore the connection between neck and shoulders with the entire spine – adding to improved mobility in neck and shoulders.
Each student will receive a handout with information and Hanna Somatics principles, approach to some movement AND a suggested home-practice routine.
WHO’S IT IDEAL FOR?
Those with chronic tension headaches, migraines, chronic shoulder injuries, desk-sitters, drivers, digestive issues – or those who have had a car accident or sports injury, this workshop will be very beneficial.
It is appropriate for all ages and fitness levels; newcomers AND those with experience.
