Scouts bring Real Xmas Trees to Lane Cove – again!
Lane Cove residents will once again be able to purchase real, Aussie-grown Xmas trees for their households. It’s well over 30 years now that the local scouts have been providing the fresh trees, and this year aim to sell over 300 to residents.
Trees will be available from St Michael’s Primary School on Tambourine Bay Road.
Trees will be on sale on Saturday 1st and Saturday 8th of December, starting at 7am until all trees are sold.
1st Tambourine Bay Sea Scouts helps to develop skills, leadership and confidence for Lane Cove girls and boys. The troop has seen numbers increase over 44% in the last 2 years. The fundraising, as well as the incredible support of the scout leaders, means that the troop has been able to include “Joeys” – young kids from 5 to 7 years old.
So, if you want a fresh Xmas tree for your home, please come and support the local Scouts!
