
Lane Cove Council is delighted to announce the return of the Reconnect Program this October, in support of Mental Health Month. This 5-week initiative will focus on supporting the health, wellbeing, and connection of seniors in our community.
Week 3 – Session 1 (9:30am – 10:30am) : My Aged Care + Love Your Brain and Body
Learn about local aged care services and how to get started with My Aged Care in an informative talk by Sydney Community Services. Then, stay for an interactive session with Sally Castell to discover how movement supports brain and body health. Practise a few simple exercises you can incorporate into your daily routine—regardless of your fitness level.

Week 3 – Session 2 (10:45am – 11:45am) : Fostering Grandparent–Parent–Child RelationshipsFostering Grandparent–Parent–Child Relationships
Relationships Australia will engage with seniors to explore how to manage and nurture healthy grandparent-parent-child relationships. This will include guidance on navigating intergenerational dynamics, setting healthy boundaries, recognising when and how to step in appropriately, and fostering strong, respectful relationships across all generations.
