DESCRIPTION:Henley Green Community Garden is a small urban farm and community garden in Henley\, complete with chickens and an honour-system plant stall. Volunteers of all experience levels are welcome at its regular open sessions\, including Tuesday 10 November from 9:30am to 11:30am. \nFirst-timers are given a task to get started and every session ends with a chat and a snack at the outdoor table. The garden is run by The Happy Hens Social Enterprise. \nSessions run on Tuesdays from 9:30am to 11:30am and Fridays from 9:00am to 11:00am\, plus Sunday afternoons. DESCRIPTION:Hunters Hill’s much-loved Carols in the Park returns to Boronia Park on Sunday 6 December from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. It is a short trip across the river for Lane Cove families. \nExpect carol singing and live entertainment on stage\, plus food stalls and market and gift stalls for some last-minute Christmas shopping. Santa and his elves will be dropping in\, and the night finishes with fireworks. \nEntry is free. Bring a picnic rug or chairs and settle in early for a good spot on the grass.
