DESCRIPTION:Residents of Cammeray and surrounds can lend a hand at the Little Young Street Community Garden every Saturday from 9:00am to 12:00pm\, starting with Saturday 7 November\, National Community Gardens Day. \nThe resident-run garden has raised beds plus composting and propagation areas\, and sits above Brightmore Reserve. Volunteers pick up skills in composting\, propagation and pruning\, and the harvest is shared after each working bee. \nNo booking is needed. DESCRIPTION:Green thumbs and keen beginners are welcome at the Kurraba Point Community Garden’s monthly working bee on Saturday 7 November from 9:30am to 11:30am\, which also happens to be National Community Gardens Day. \nEach month the group weeds\, sows\, plants and harvests together\, and decides what’s next for the garden. The semi-formal garden has symbolic designs and lovely views over Neutral Bay. It sits at the rear of 141 Kurraba Road. \nWorking bees run on the first Saturday of the month\, with the next on Saturday 5 December. New gardeners can join the group.
