Shinbukan offers traditional Japanese training in self defence, karate, ninjutsu and a variety of Japanese martial arts.
The academy was founded in 1978 by Soke Crando Saito to continue the traditions of Igaryu Ninjutsu, Goju-Ryu Karate, Shinto Ryu Iaido and Aiki-Jujutsu.
Soke Crando Saito, has had extensive experience in the martial arts since 1957 and is currently the only Japanese Grand Master living in Australia.
Soke Crando Saito is the 16th Grandmaster of Igaryu Ninjutsu, Grandmaster of Goju-Ryu Karate Do, 7th Dan Kyoshi Shinto Ryu Iaido, Isshinryu Aiki-Jujutsu Soshi, Hanshi 8th dan Sports Chanbara and 8th dan Soshi Tamagashiri Iaido.
Shinbukan aims to develop the arts carefully and spread them further so that a new generation may become its masters and in turn teach the next generation
