DESCRIPTION:Alf and Pearl Pollard Memorial Awards For Performance Excellence (in association with Sydney Eisteddfod) Ten of the most outstanding solo instrumentalists between the ages of 13 and 15 years have been selected from the 2025 Sydney Eisteddfod for these awards. \nThe performances will be followed by the audience vote and the announcement of and awarding of First prize ($1000)\, Second Prize ($750)\, Third Prize ($500) and Finalists’ Awards of $300 each. \nPlease note: A detailed programme with information about our young performers\, their performance item and a voting paper will be handed out at the door. The funds for these awards were donated in 2001 by the Pollard Family and friends of Alf and Pearl \nLane Cove Music’s final concert of the year will be on Tuesday 25 November 2025 and will feature the Macquarie University Singers \n
