DESCRIPTION:Try your hand at orienteering\, a navigation sport for ages 8 to 80+\, at Penrose Street Playground on Saturday 12 September. Orienteering combines a love of the outdoors with the challenge of finding your way using a map and compass\, and caters to all fitness levels\, from casual walkers to elite athletes. \nNever read a map or used a compass before? Don’t worry\, basic skills are easily learnt and experienced orienteers will be on hand to help. Choose from courses ranging one to six kilometres\, suited to beginners and young children through to superfit adults. \nStart anytime between 9:30am and 11am; most participants finish within the hour. \n\nAdult – $18; School Student – $15; plus $4 for timing card hire
