SUMMARY:Harbourcare Kayak x World Ecology Day
DESCRIPTION:Lane Cove Council’s Harbourcare team heads out on the water on Tuesday 3 November for a litter-collecting kayak along the Lane Cove River\, timed for World Ecology Day. Paddlers will explore the river and clean up the foreshore as they go\, helping to protect a valuable local habitat. \nPaid tickets include kayak hire\, while a free ticket is available for those who bring their own kayak. Bags\, gloves and litter pickers are provided\, along with a low waste snack and drink. Medium fitness is required and a little kayaking experience is preferred but not essential. \nThe trip runs from 9:00am to 12:30pm\, departing from Riverview. Participants must be 11 or older\, and under 16s need an adult with them. Bookings are through Eventbrite\, and the meeting spot is sent after booking.
