Halloween in Lane Cove

There are quite few events in Lane Cove and surrounding suburbs this Halloween. Okay, I know some of you are going to say not interested, this is not an Australian tradition – this post is not about going door to door trick or treating.  This post is about supporting some great community events and letting the kids have a good time.  Here are there events you may be interested in:

  • Lane Cove West Public School Halloween Fireworks Night  on 26 October 2013 5 to 9 pm

The kids love this event, it is fun for the entire family and everyone in Lane Cove is invited.  It is organised by a group of dedicated volunteers, It is Lane Cove West Public Schools’s largest fund raising event of the year.

There are heaps of rides for kids to enjoy.

*Cup & Saucer (2-12 yrs)   *Pirate Ship   (2-12 yrs) *Mini Ferris Wheel *Tiger Castle  (2-12 yrs) *Flinstone Cars (2-12yr)  Super Slide  (all ages) *Windjammer  (ages 2+)   *Storm (ages 6+) min height 110cm *Jurassic Park  (large inflatable castle)    *Round Up (ages 6+), minimum height 130cm Test your skills in Side Show Alley  (gold coin donation) Dance the night away in the “Haunted Disco” and Live Music There is always plenty of food on sale including a range of hot or cold, sweet or savoury. The evening will conclude at 9.00pm with a spectacular fireworks display.

The event is open to all. Entry costs $5 per person, (under 4’s free) and ride tickets can be purchased on the night.

  • Outdoor Movie Night Frankenweenie – Greenwich Baths –  Thursday 31st October 5pm

Enjoy your favourite movie with the family overlooking Sydney’s beautiful harbour. This Halloween the Greenwich Baths has a great Halloween Family Fun movie night planned for you. There will plenty of activities for the kids to enjoy including pool inflatables and music and special Halloween decoration.  Come dressed in your favourite halloween costume and you could win a prize. The movies starts at sunset.

  • Voce n Ale Festival – Delicious Dinners Spooky and Spicy for Halloween 31 October  7 – 10.30
