Terms of Event Submission
In the Cove welcomes event submissions that are relevant to the Lane Cove community.
Free community events, not-for-profit events, school events, club events and genuinely public-interest local events may be submitted to our calendar free of charge, subject to approval.
Events that are commercial in nature, promote a business, include a direct link to a business, sell tickets, generate income or form part of a broader business promotion may require a paid listing, advertising package or Business Supporter arrangement before approval.
If your event falls into this category, please still submit the details and our team will contact you with the relevant options and costs before the event is published.
All submissions are reviewed by In the Cove before publication. Submission does not guarantee approval. We may edit event descriptions for clarity, length, formatting or house style and we reserve the right to decline events that are not suitable for our audience, fall outside our local focus or conflict with our community publishing policies.
For the best chance of approval, please include clear event details, the organiser’s name, date, time, location, booking link if relevant and a suitable image.
