Greenwich Sailing Club is a friendly family-oriented sailing club located on the foreshores of Sydney Harbour, with excellent club house and rigging facilities in a park setting. We also have spare boat storage space, ample free parking and a good launching ramp.

We offer both social and bowling memberships and new players are welcome to try out bowls before deciding on joining. Lane Cove Cricket Club is the oldest Shires cricket club in the Sydney Cricket Association as well as being one of the largest Junior clubs on the North Shore and fielding a flourishing Masters (over 40s) contingent.

Lane Cove Golf Club is a friendly, affordable, community based golf club located on the 9 hole public golf course (with two alternate tees and greens) owned by Lane Cove Council. It is situated very close to Lane Cove Village in verdant bush lined valleys. There is plenty of free parking.

Lane Cove Junior Rugby Union is an offshoot of the Lane Cove Rugby Union senior side and was founded in 1951. Lane Cove JRU is one of the 8 Village Clubs that comprise the Gordon District and offers boys and girls the opportunity to play rugby from U5 through to U16.

Lane Cove Rugby has been the spiritual home of rugby on the North Shore since 1949. Proudly wearing white, blue and gold, Lane Cove competes in the New South Wales Suburban Rugby Union competition.

Lane Cove Swim Club
Lane Cove Swim Club (LCSC) is a non-profit community swimming club based at Lane Cove Aquatic Centre, 2 Little Street Lane Cove. We promote swimming in the community at every level from recreational and fitness to elite athlete squad training for competition at local, statewide and national swimming meets. We are one of the oldest swimming clubs in Australia. Lane Cove Olympic pool was opened in 1961 and Lane Cove Swim Club was founded shortly afterwards.

Lane Cove Tennis Club (LCTC) is a registered not-for-profit community organisation and is operated entirely by volunteers under the guidance of the LCTC Committee. We aim to provide high quality tennis and fitness facilities (alongside the associated amenities) to our members and the broader Lane Cove community.

The Lane Cove Tigers are a family friendly club that provides an opportunity for boys and girls to play junior rugby league. Our focus is on getting children participating, learning new skills, working as a team, exercising and having fun!

Lane Cove West FC is a community football clubs that specialises in youth team and player development. We are based and Blackman Park and invite players aged 12 to 21 to try out, train and play with our teams all year round. Our winter squads play in the NSFA winter football competition from April to August every year. Squad trials are held in November annually.

Northern Suburbs Little Athletics Centre (NSLAC) caters for children aged between 5 and 17 of all abilities. The focus is on children improving their “PB” – personal best result – over the season. Talented athletes may also have the opportunity to compete in higher level competitions, possibly right up to State representation, subject to qualification.

The St Michael’s O/35 Football Club is based in Lane Cove and plays in the Northern Suburbs Football Association (formerly KDSA). There are close to 1400 players registered in the 5 Divisions that make up the O/35s competitions. Each year there are more and more players joining to play the “world game”.
