After a break, the Lane Cove Markets are back.  The Markets are now run by Lindsay and Phil (the team behind the very successful Beaches Market).

Lindsay and Phil are passionate about fresh food and a great experience.  There are some new vendors at the market and your old favs are back.

There are many reasons why I go.  Great produce is one of them.   Porkys Henhouse makes the best egg and bacon rolls in Sydney. The bacon is mango cured.

Check out Johnstone’s Kitchen Table – their produce could not be any fresher.

If you ask many of the market goers why they are there, they will tell you they must have the farm fresh eggs.

Authentic Indian curries are available – ITC is trying butter chicken tonight.

If you really want to impress your friends grab a handful of mushroom and smear them with herb flavoured butter and whack them on the BBQ for five minutes – yum.

However the number one reason ITC attends the market is community.  It is so much fun to grab a coffee (and sit down and watch the world go past.  I always meet heaps of people I know and it has become a real place to be seen on Sunday and to meet up with friends.

So do yourself a favour and come to the Lane Cove Farmers Market and enjoy the community atmosphere.  There is even music playing!
