Bop Till You Drop
Bop till you Drop run Performing Arts Workshops in the October School Holidays. Our workshops are designed for children aged 5 – 12years. These programs are educational with professional teachers who will gently encourage and teach your child new skills in DANCING, SINGING, ACTING, plus craft, cooking and science to break up the action packed day. There are 6 classes per day, each class runs for 45 minutes. This program is aimed at building self-esteem in your child. We allow them to be part of the creative process rather than dictating our ideas. This helps build their self-confidence and makes them feel proud of their achievements. The children will perform in a concert on the last day to show off their new talents and they will also be awarded a graduation certificate. The concert is an important part to building confidence and their public speaking skills. Also we want them to walk away with a big sense of satisfaction knowing they worked towards something and accomplished it.

River Road Tennis Holiday Camps Lane Cove (with excursions and before and after school care)

Hot Shots Orange Camp 8 -10 years
Also using a modified court and the orange ball, this camp allows children to play on a larger court with slightly faster tennis balls. It teaches new strokes, skills and strategies using techniques that allow easier understanding and rapid progress with an emphasis still on having fun and enjoying tennis!!
Hot Shots Green Camp 11 years +
This more advanced camp uses a full court and standard yellow tennis balls, with the emphasis on improving skills and strokes and match play.

School Holiday Learn to Sail
Greenwich Sailing Club’s annual learn to sail program is suitable for children from 10 to 14 years old. Over 3 days the students are coached by a professional instructor in all the basics of dinghy sailing. After the training, children are competent to compete in our Sunday afternoon racing series and will receive ongoing coaching through the year. The training fee includes membership of the club for 12 months as well as boat hire until the end of the sailing season.

Lane Cove Podiatry
Every day Lane Cove Podiatry has children come to their surgery with foot pain and problems and it’s often because their shoes are not either fitting correctly or are the wrong type for their foot or activity. Often kids play sport in flat unsupported shoes and this can be the major cause of their foot pain.
Many parents buy school shoes that are way too long thinking that they will get more time out of them. This can cause tripping and pigeon toeing and exacerbate or cause foot problems.
Lane Cove Podiatry is offering free shoe checks in the school holidays where parents can bring in their children and their shoes and Lane Cove Podiatry will provide a 10 minute free foot and shoe check. They will also offer advice on the correct shoes for the child and discuss treatment options if there are some further concerns.
