Lane Cove Music Presents Nick Russoniello in Concert with the Golden Age Quartet – From Gershwin to Charlie Chaplin

Picture this – America in the 1920’s.  The war has ended and the country is embracing a wave of optimism. Charlie Parker and John Coltrane are at the height of their popularity with the saxophone the coolest instrument around. Everybody wanted to play the saxophone. Nick Russoniello and the Golden Age Quartet transport you back to this time. Dressed in 1920’s attire the Quartet will fill the stage with their enthusiasm. Pieces from composers such as Gershwin and Charlie Chaplin and well-known American classics will leave you in awe.  Nick has a great rapport with the audience and you will learn more about that great jazz age.
