More Bus Services Added to Lane Cove Routes

From Sunday 28 July 2019 services across Lane Cove will be adjusted by adding more trips to Routes 251, 253 and 292 (and slight adjustments to 288).

The biggest change is 45 more additional weekly trips for the packed 253 – Riverview Service.  Lane Cove West has had insufficient coverage around the Burns Bay Road/Waterview Street Apartments.  This has resulted in patrons crossing Burns Bay Reserve and taking the 253.  A summary of the extra services is below:

251
Lane Cove West to City Wynyard via Freeway
  • Additional morning and afternoon peak trips, including earlier and later trips
  • 35 additional weekly trips
253
Riverview to City Wynyard via Freeway
  • Additional morning and afternoon peak trips, including earlier and later trips
  • 45 additional weekly trips
288
Epping to City Erskine St
  • One additional Saturday trip
  • Minor timetable adjustments
292
Marsfield to City Erskine St via Macquarie Park
  • Additional early morning and morning peak trips
  • 20 additional weekly trips
  • Minor timetable adjustments

There are only minor timetable adjustments to the 294.

As a result of the Metro being opened the following buses will no longer go past the Lane Cove Interchange – 610, 621, 627, 628, 642, 650, 651, 653.

Do you think this will help?  Why was the 252 excluded from the list?
