A well-established Lane Cove practice is looking for a qualified accountant with experience in an public accounting practice.
We are looking for someone for 3days (20 hours) per week; however this could be spread over 4 days to fit in with school hours.

The client base consists of predominately small businesses and individuals within various structures over a number of services and industries
Your duties will include assisting the principal in meeting client and ATO deadlines, preparation of financial statements, income tax returns, BAS returns to completion, corporate compliance and a small amount of audit related work
We are looking for a positive person with highly developed communication skills and strong technical knowledge, as well as the ability to problem solve, whilst proving to be a strong team member.
Practical experience is essential and the ability to work unsupervised whilst liaising with the practice principal is required.
To be successful, you will have:
CA qualification
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a chartered accounting practice
Advanced MYOB, Xero would be a bonus
MS Office skills with intermediate excel
Attention to detail, great time management skills and initiative
Ability to work unsupervised
Excellent oral and written communication skills as you will be liaising with clients.
