The Walk-in Specialist Emergency Clinic (WISE) is a stand-alone facility offering Specialised Emergency care based in the community. WiSE provides immediate medical attention when an accident or emergency requires more than a GP visit but is considered non-life threatening and you don’t want to wait hours in a Hospital Emergency Department.
WISE is open every day these Summer holiday – including Christmas Day and New Years Day.

What Does This Service Cost?
$200* flat fee applies to access the facility. This includes your specialist emergency medical assessment, any diagnostics required (X-ray, CT, Ultrasound and blood tests) with immediate results and any treatment necessary (plastering, stitching, intravenous therapy etc). *This fee is not covered by Medicare or health funds.

– fractures and falls – sport injuries & concussions – early pregnancy complications (<20weeks) – fevers, infections, cellulitis – abdominal pains & suspected appendicitis – atypical chest pains – vomiting & diarrhoea – migraines /headaches/ vertigo / ENT – mild asthma – work injuries |
Treatment:
– Intravenous therapy – Intravenous antibiotics – Plastering and fracture management – Stitching – Iron infusions – Foreign body removal & abscess drainage – Asthma management; nebulisers and stretching |
Bulk-billed Radiology
Bulk-billed Radiology services, XRAY, CT, OPG and Ultrasound* are available with a valid GP or Specialist Referral that do not require an Emergency Specialist consult. Your results will be provided to your referring doctor.
