    Huge Plant Sale

Keith and Maureene, a retired couple, are avid gardeners and propagators. In March and October each year Keith and Maureene open their house and hold a huge plant sale. The sale is aptly called the Huge Plant Sale.

All proceeds from the Huge Plant Sale are donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF).  You need to book your appointment.  Details here.

    NSW Free Tree Giveaway

In 2021, households will be able to apply for free trees between March to May, from NSW Government’s partner,  IndigiGrow – an all Aboriginal owned, not-for-profit in La Perouse. IndigiGrow will be providing trees for pick up from La Perouse Public School. Each month there will be different trees and quantities available. The number of trees available will be revealed on this webpage by 9am on the first of each month.

They received an overwhelming response to applications for free trees in March and there is currently no more stock available.

More orders will be available on 1 April 2021, register your details here to be notified as soon as more are available.

If you’re planting a tree(s) outside of the Giveaway, register it to make it count, every tree planted gets us one step closing to planting one million trees by 2022.

Planting one million trees will provide more shade, cleaner air and more resilient places to live. To reach the target of one million trees we need individuals to play a part and plant trees in your own backyard.  Lane Cove Council residents are eligible for this scheme.
