Here are the official “picnic” rules that start today. They apply to the Lane Cove Council area as we are not an area of concern. You are not permitted to have people in your backyard or front yard. However, the verge (the area outside your front fence or boundary line) is crown land and, therefore, a public outdoor space. You can picnic with five other vaccinated people (children under 12 are not included in the count)
