Our ethical procurement policy means that you will find organic linens, Australian made Mini Jumbuck sheep’s wool doonas, German crystal glassware and high quality crockery sourced from modern slavery free manufacturers in democratic countries (apart from one or two essential appliances… we tried!! but we are ALWAYS improving so please chime in with your recommendations).

The cottage best suits two couples or a couple and one or two older children. The unique wood detail in the lounge room is enhanced by the original double swing doors to the entry way and another set into a stunning chef’s kitchen. A cute eat in dining nook is complemented by a breakfast bar/work space at the other end. You’ll also find a dishwasher, microwave, huge pantry and large fridge in the kitchen.
The bathroom is original in that it is the same layout as when the house was built however it has been modernised. It has a shower over the bath and is equipped with a gas powered continuous hot water system which means the hot water never runs out – great for soaking or steaming after a big day on the trail. There is a washing machine in the cupboard in the bathroom and drying racks for drying clothes overnight.
In the lounge room and the master bedroom, the reverse cycle air conditioning means temperatures are controlled in summer or winter. Should they be needed, there are fans and heaters for other rooms.
The Wifi is complimentary and light breakfast provisions are provided.

Decorated with a nod to the french farmhouse aesthetic, the light filled rooms feature french cream walls and plantation shutters. The place is filled with original artworks, found objects and loved pieces.
I stay at this cottage in between travels so the third bedroom is locked as it is an owners cupboard. Everything else is yours to use.
The cottage and the outdoor areas are yours to use when you stay with us. That includes the pool and pool deck and the Pavilion with outdoor kitchen and toilet/ shower room adjacent to that Pavillon. There is a meditation deck out by the small dam and a boules court in the bottom corner of the property.
The only thing that we ask you not to use is the golf cart or the ride on mower during your stay with us.
There is secondary accomodation at the back of the block – unless you have booked this for your party of guests – this is not to be accessed.
Please remember that we are on tank water here…there is no mains water so be mindful about your water usage.

The stunning galley kitchen has been carefully renovated and fully equipped to satisfy those who love to cook. Fresh cereal is complimentary as are ‘welcome nibbles’.
A restored original breezeway above the bedroom door leads through to the generous bedroom with a queen bed, abundant wardrobe space and renovated ensuite. In the cupboard a small book collection from the hosts own library is available for your use.
