Harris Farm

Harris Farm is gearing up for an opening in early August (probably second week).  They have started advertising the Lane Cove Store and have launched a competition for their Lane Cove shoppers.  You can enter the competition here.

The Cook and the Baker

The Cook And Baker are coming to Lane Cove. They will be inside Harris Farm. The Cook and Baker told ITC:

“Our freshly baked goods rise with the sun each morning, crafted in our kitchens by our team of bakers and chefs. Food brings joy, and we love being able to bring joy to our customers and connect with our community. Our food is famous for its flavours and our service for its smile. Every item we make is borne out of our passion for great produce and food

Taste is central to everything we make – every ingredient is carefully considered. We make everything from scratch each day, no substitute, no compromises. We represent a return to food favourites with a modern organic touch. You will like what you see in our stores and you will love what you taste.

Welcome to The Cook and Baker

  • Created with thought
  • Made with love
  • Shared with pleasure”

Rebel Donuts

Rebel Donuts will be located in the Harris Farm Store.  They are described as authentic donuts made from scratch and baked in the store daily.  They have gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan options.

Salumi Deli

Salumi Deli will also be located in the Harris Farm Store.   Salumi Deli describes their business on their website as:

“A true labour of love, Salumi Australia has spent the past decade consciously crafting fermented and gently aged smallgoods among the rolling green hills of the Byron Bay hinterland in Bundjalung country.

Our company was dreamt up by co-founder Massimiliano Scalas, a chef and native Sardinian who missed the salumi of his homeland. He sought to create an artisan-style salumi range, one crafted in the European slow-food tradition using premium Australian ingredients.

Alongside partner Rebecca McEwan, the duo welcomed Salumi Australia in 2010, a company that remains devoted to crafting unique and authentic products and continue bringing people together over good, honest food.”

Gelato Messina

Gelato Messina will also be located at Harris Farm.  We understand that it will not be a full store but will serve up items such as pictured below.

Fish in the Family

Fish in the Family (previously called Sydney Fresh Seafood) will be located in Harris Farm.  Fish in the Family has been operating since 1976.  On their website, they describe their business:

“People have trusted our family to provide the best seafood for generations.

The freshest flavours, the most delicious recipes and the finest picks of the day – you might say it’s the family passion. That means you can trust us to recommend the perfect choice for you, to know its provenance, and to stand behind its quality.

And if you’re not happy for any reason, we want to know about it. Please don’t be afraid to ask questions, have a chat with us, and enjoy simply the best produce the ocean has to offer.

We’re all family here.”

Noodle Box

Noodle Box has submitted a Development Application for a store inside Lane Cove Central as one of the speciality stores – it is not located within the Harris Farm Store.

Noodle Box describes their business on their website as follows:

“Rewind 25 years, two young Aussies took their taste buds on an adventure to Southeast Asia, discovering a cultural melting-pot of flavours and authentic cuisines bursting from the vibrant hawker food markets. Returning back to Australia richly inspired and armed with a wok in hand, Noodle Box was born.

Today, Noodle Box is Australia’s most loved noodle brand with 70+ restaurants across Australia. Our mission is simple, to inspire nostalgia of the bustling Southeast Asian hawker street markets by delivering authentic dishes that pack intense flavours, fresh crunch, fiery heat and unforgettable wok-char.”
