This powerhouse evening of entertainment, blues, and jazz with the legendary Billy Burton Band featuring Special Guest Singer/ Musician, Nic Jeffries, is bringing some of Australia’s finest musicians to the Lane Cove Golf Club.
The Billy Burton Band
The Billy Burton Band members are all highly regarded in the local and international scene: Ray Alldridge on keys, Ron Lemke on drums, Stan Valacos on bass and Billy Burton on trumpet and flugelhorn.
As resident band leader at Sydney’s iconic Chequers Nightclub and The Chevron Silverspade Room, Billy and his orchestra performed with internationally acclaimed artists, including Stevie Wonder, Tom Jones, Shirley Bassey, Dusty Springfield, Jose Feliciano, Bobby Darin, and countless others who toured Australia in the 60s and 70s as well as regular gigs on TV & Radio. Billy is still both confounding and brilliant!

Nic Jeffries will delight with some Stevie Wonder classics. Nick is a soulful vocalist and musician, and a formidable Saxophone player of local and international acclaim. With Billy’s band, this night is not to be missed!
Nic Jeffries is a big-hearted, soulful vocalist and musician from Sydney, and a formidable Saxophone player. His original interpretations of classic songs coupled with his emotionally charged original compositions make for a beautiful listening experience. While infatuated with the soul greats like Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Donny Hathaway, & Sinatra, Nic has crafted a rich, powerful & soulful sound that is all his own, delighting audiences at festivals, events, and venues around Australia and across the globe for many years.
Nic worked with the finest vocalists and musicians, including jazz legend James Morrison on a few occasions, and performed with artists as diverse as Damien Leith, Guy Sebastian, Renae Geyer, Steve Balbi (Noiseworks), and Mark Gable (The Choir Boys). He enjoyed some extensive time with his own shows on Sydney’s radio airwaves. He was also a contestant on The Voice.
tTiffany Austin
Tiffany Austin, a Los Angeles native, is an outstanding young jazz singer re-imagining the jazz vocal tradition. Tiffany stakes a claim as a formidable songwriter and intrepid musical explorer and she will be joining Billy Burton and Nic Jeffries.
After working as an R&B singer in Tokyo, Tiffany received a scholarship to Berkeley Law School, but was unable to relinquish her passion for music, so performed while studying but returned to music full-time upon her graduation. In 2015, her first album ‘Nothing But Soul’ gave her a huge profile. Tiffany followed-up with ‘Unbroken’ which features a stellar line-up of jazz musicians and brings together her love of jazz, soul, R&B and the blues. ‘Unbroken’ is a timeless meditation on African-American culture’s extraordinary resilience, with a soul-steeped affirmation that embraces blues and swing, spirituals and R&B, bebop, post-bop, and her own Louisiana Creole heritage.
