The Lane Cove Toy Library
The Lane Cove Toy Library opens its doors Saturday 29th of June. They are a not-for-profit, volunteer-run library under the stewardship of The Sydney Library of Things. The Lane Cove Council has funded the set-up costs. The Lane Cove Toy Library is located at 47 Burns Bay Road opp Harris Farm
The toy library is for ages 0 to 18, and includes board games or other items that families can enjoy and try before they buy.

Meet Nawaz, the new owner of IGA Lane Cove, located on Burns Bay Road (near Zapparellis Pizza, Stuart Leal Gallery and Switch Physio Lane Cove)
Nawaz has been in charge of the business for two weeks, and he told ITC that his mission is to increase the amount of fresh produce, and the Deli cabinet has been restocked.
He would love you to come in, say hi, and tell him what you want to see in IGA Lane Cove.
One of the benefits of shopping at IGA Lane Cove is that you can have a cuppa before you shop. They do have great New York-style sandwiches—ITC Fav is number 3.
We wish Nawaz the best of luck as he revamps the store and puts in new products.

Meet Sorya Pordeli, the new owner of Wade Pharmacy on Burns Bay Road (near Zapparellis Pizza , Stuart Leal Gallery and Switch Physio Lane Cove
She is excited to be in Lane Cove, and when we were at the pharmacy, she was in the compounding room – not many pharmacies these days are compounding pharmacies.
She has taken over from Phil and Janet Wade, who celebrated 40 years as Lane Cove pharmacists on 24 March 2024.
Please pop in and say hi to Sorya. The whole Burns Bay shopping area on Burns Bay Road (we did have a huge discussion once now about what it should be called) is an alternative destination to the Village as it has an IGA, a doctor’s surgery, a dentist, a physio, and northside speech pathology.
