    This year’s Red Belt Challenge is more than just a program—it’s a movement for transformation. Over 12 weeks, participants commit to meaningful lifestyle changes, including:

    • Eliminating distractions: Abstaining from vaping, alcohol, junk food, social media and more
    • Setting personal growth goals: Focusing on self-improvement and resilience across the challenge
    • Regular exercise and training: Participating in weekly group sessions for support and accountability.
    • Backed by facilitators, counsellors, and a dedicated team, the challenge provides a supportive and connected environment for all participants.

    Challenge 2025 Highlights

    This year introduces an exciting pilot study exploring the challenge’s impact on the wellbeing of girls and women. Supported by mental health professionals and academics, the study aims to highlight the effect social media has on poor sleep and mental health, and the knock on effects from these. Participants will be monitored throughout – it’s a huge opportunity to give up social media and get some time back from doom scrolling!

    Small group support: Regular check-ins and weekly meetings to maintain focus and motivation.

    Positive encouragement and habit forming practices ; resources, reminders and repetition to help develop good habits throughout the challenge.

    Collaborative partnerships: Working with organisations like the University of York to enhance the program’s reach and impact.
