Goodman will hold a series of community information sessions in August about Project Mars, its proposed data centre at 12 Mars Road, Lane Cove West.
The sessions will include two online webinars and a series of one-on-one appointments at Lane Cove Library.
Goodman says the sessions will provide an update on the project, explain how the proposal has progressed following the recent consultation period, outline the next steps in the planning and assessment process and respond to questions raised by the community. Members of the project team and technical specialists will also be available to discuss the proposal and the technical studies supporting the planning application.
The formal consultation period has now concluded. Goodman says feedback received during the consultation has helped inform its ongoing planning and assessment work and highlighted areas where further information may be helpful for the community.
Online Community Webinars
Two online webinars will be held. Each will run for approximately 90 minutes and include a project update, an overview of the planning and assessment process and a live question and answer session with the project team and technical specialists.
Registration is essential and attendees are encouraged to submit their questions when registering. Webinar access details will be provided following registration. Register for an online webinar through the Project Mars website.
One-on-One Information Sessions
Nearby residents and stakeholders who would prefer to discuss the project individually can book a 20-minute appointment with members of the project team and technical specialists at Lane Cove Library. The meetings are intended to provide an opportunity to ask project-specific questions, discuss technical aspects of the proposal and receive further information about the planning and assessment process.
Bookings are essential and can be made through the Project Mars website. Residents who cannot attend one of the scheduled sessions can contact the Project Mars team by emailing [email protected].
