A 15-year-old Forestville boy has been charged with four offences after police allege he stole from two liquor stores in Chatswood and Cremorne while wearing a face covering.
Police will allege the boy took two items from a Chatswood liquor store on 4 October before being confronted by staff, then returned on 10 October to a Cremorne store with six others, filling a milk crate with more than $1,000 worth of alcohol before being stopped by bystanders.
He was arrested and charged with shoplifting, larceny, disguising his face to commit an indictable offence and participating in a criminal group. He is due before Surry Hills Children’s Court on 2 November.
