When the kids go back to school; it’s a great time to learn a new creative skill, even as an adult!
Gallery Lane Cove + Creative Gallery term classes and workshops are an excellent way for adults to learn a new skill in a welcoming environment.
Gallery Lane Cove + Creative Studios is located in the building directly across from the Lane Cove Library.
Below are five benefits of joining an Art Class/Workshop – there are many more, but we have just named what we think are the top five!!
5 Benefits of Joining an Art Class/Workshop
Learn a New Skill
You might have hidden artistic talents that are waiting to be unleashed. You might attend a Gallery Lane Cove + Creative Gallery class/workshop and find a talent you didn’t know you had that becomes an enjoyable hobby.
If you’ve already started dabbling in painting or another creative skill, classes and workshops could allow you to learn a different approach or technique while connecting with like-minded locals.
Something to Take Home
You’ll have something physical to take home at the end of the term or workshop. You may want to proudly display your artwork at home or give them to a friend or loved one.
It’s Good For Your Mental Health
Art is a great stress reliever. It’s a mechanism for anyone wanting to express their emotions or be creative. Being hands-on and creative is good for your well-being.
The classes and workshops are also “me” time.
Professional Training
Professionals present the classes and workshops. They are used to teaching people with different skill levels (from beginners to advanced).
A Set Time Commitment
Pick a class/workshop with times that suit you. The classes are always during the school term, only a few hours a week.
Workshops are usually held over a few hours.
